Satan uses the weapons of lies and deception to attack, blind, and hold people. Engaging in evangelism means engaging in spiritual hand-to-hand combat for the souls of men and women, boys and girls.
Coming to Terms: The Word
God is a living, communicating being. The term “word” is used to describe the expression of one’s thought. In the Bible the terms translated “word” have both Hebrew and Greek roots.

Every Promise in the Book Isn’t Mine
We can only claim and have assurance God will fulfil what He has said in His Word He will do. That means we cannot claim a promise if God didn’t make it.
Coming to Terms: Justice
Where does understanding justice begin? The term “justice” begins with God. Justice is rooted in the character of God and is not an outside principle to which He must conform.

Aiming to Make Disciples
How long would it take to evangelize the world if we were to actually do what Jesus said and if each year every disciple made another disciple who made another disciple?
Two challenges: be disciples; make disciples.
Almost 35 years ago, Insight for Living Canada was established to help Canadians be disciples and make disciples—in other words, be someone who follows Christ and be someone who helps others follow Christ.
